Maria Sharapova and some players from the Arizona Cardinals enjoyed a barbecue and carnival with the kids at the Save the Family's Mesa headquarters thanks to funding from quarterback Matt Leinart's foundation.
They all signed autographs, pitched balls, gave gifts and posed for photos with the kids and their families.
Save The Family provides housing, counseling, job-training and other programs for families throughout the Valley who are left homeless by domestic violence, substance abuse or poverty.
